Born in London to an English mother and an Italian father but raised in France, Piers Faccini breaks the mould of what a singer-songwriter can be. A musician who started out in spoken-word poetry with the brief London-based group Charley Marlowe, or a painter and artist who also sings, writes songs and produces other artists? Piers doesn’t and won’t choose. Having recorded with Ben Harper and his regular producer J. P. Plunier, he has collaborated as well with Rokia Traoré, Patrick Watson or Camille and seen two of his songs used in the popular TV series “Grey’s Anatomy”. Piers has just released his fifth album and first on his own label Beating Drum, “Between Dogs and Wolves”.
