Don’t let the fact that Italian composer and musician Ludovico Einaudi studied under celebrated contemporary composer Luciano Berio scare you. Einaudi bridges like few musicians the worlds of classical, pop and world music. Last year he won the prestigious Vittorio de Sica award for his contribution to cinema in films such as the global hit “The Intouchables”, “This Is England” or “I’m Still Here”; he has performed in the iTunes Festival, and recorded with To Rococo Rot, Ballaké Sissoko, Rodrigo Leão or Djivan Gasparyan. His latest work Elements, released in 2015, was recorded in Langhe (Italy) and according to the artist is “a unique experience, accompanied by pulsating rhythms of an explosive spring”.
