New York City-based singer-songwriter Scott Matthew has a luminous, fragile voice. An ever-changing mystery that has been favorably compared (by none other than Rolling Stone magazine) to Antony Hegarty, Scott has recently opened for fellow free spirit Cat Power on tour and has contributed songs to many films, the latest of which “Five Dances” by Alan Brown. His latest recording is the acclaimed “Unlearned” released in June, a collection of cover versions from artists as different as Whitney Houston, Morrissey or Neil Young with guest turns from Neil Hannon.
